Counseling Pages
Hello! My name is Logan Stork and I am very excited to be joining Douglass High School this year as the new school counselor. Douglass is a wonderful community and the schools reflect that. I look forward to working with your students and helping them navigate through their high school years.
School Counselors focus on three areas:
Academic Success
This focuses on giving students the tools they need to do their best in school now and in the future. Counselors work with them on study tips, staying organized, managing time, lowering test stress, and making sure their classes match their career goals.
College & Career Readiness
Counselors help students figure out what they might want to do after high school—whether that’s college, trade school, the military, or going straight into the workforce. This includes support with applications, scholarships, exploring different programs, and making a smooth transition to whatever comes next.
Social & Emotional Growth
Life isn’t just about grades—it’s also about learning how to handle emotions, build strong friendships, bounce back from challenges, and solve problems in healthy ways. Counselors support students through tough situations and help them build skills to make good decisions.
I look forward to working with your students!

A little about me….
I have been happily married for 22 years and we have an amazing 8-year-old son, Adan. We enjoy traveling, gardening, being outdoors, and spending time together. I grew up in California, graduated from Santa Rosa High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in art history from San Francisco State University and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Wichita State University, and later completed my master’s degree in school counseling at Wichita State. Professionally, I served as the College & Career Center Coordinator at North High for five years, followed by six years as a school counselor there. I’m excited to serve the community I call home, support Douglass High students, and become part of the Bulldog traditions that make the school so special.
