I started teaching Kindergarten at Seal Elementary in 2006. 

My interest in teaching and love for children came from watching and helping my parents to their classrooms.  My mom was my music teacher beginning in first grade.  In middle and high school, I loved having my dad as my music teacher.  I am blessed to have worked with them throughout the summer of bulletin boards, lesson plans, and seeing first hand how to prepare for a school year.  When I was in kindergarten, I told my teacher I wanted to teach kindergarten and from then on...that's what I had my heart set on. 

I loved playing school with my stuffed animals, baby dolls, and my friends!! I would read to them and teach!  Now I get to teach REAL kiddos and LOVE having my own classroom.  Each year, I meet my new group of little kids and can't wait to dive in and help them grow and learn! 

I am blessed to have a supportive and loving family!
